Adsense Update

Well I thought it was time I gave you an update re my Adsense earnings, which basically is people clicking on the adverts by the side of my four blogs.

£2.99! Thats what I have reached so far. Now don't get me wrong im chuffed to have earn't anything but I think we can agree that is a low figure.

I was initially impressed with the way Adsense works as it targets ad's to your blogs content, however im not at all sure whats going wrong as my page impression figures have gone way up but actually getting clicks on the adverts are not following through.

Since I can't control the adverts on my blogs the only thing really to do is to keep trying to increase traffic. At the moment im mainly doing this through forums, joining specific forums related to each blogs topic and then linking back to my blog through my signature.

  3. Hey Darrel, thanks for stopping by :-) I have checked out your blog and will defo be becoming a follower, you have a topic there that touches many people.

Hey Aynzan, thanks for your comment :-) I have recently signed up to some paid survey sites, however I have only gone for free one's so far. Im a little skeptical of the paid survey directories as i've heard lots of the sites they recommend are mainly targeted at the american consumer so think it might be a bit of a waste for someone in the UK.

If you have heard of any good one's though im always willing to check them out? xx

  4. Hey Ava, I have been meaning to stop by and tell you about this site that I recently found out about. You might even know about it, it's called "Homewiththekids.com." I saw it advertised on yahoo one day when I was checking my email and you were the first person that came to mind. I also plan to browse the site to see if there is anything that could help me. I can't say to much about the adsense program because I still haven't figured it out quite yet. I need to learn how to put more advertisements on my site, right now I only have one and nobody is clicking it.

  5. Hey Kiaana, how's you? I've been meaning to drop you an email actually, your blog is my fave out of all that I follow so I was just going to say keep it up girl, your quotes are fab :-)

As for that website, I will defo check it out as well and maybe we can catch up later and see how each other is doing?

With regard the ad's on your page - when you set up adsense it should have given you some options as to where to put the ad's e.g. on the side bar etc, I just chose the one that allowed me to put the most ad's on my page hehe.

  6. Ava, Your site seems rather interesting. I hope you will achieve your goals of earning $$$ online. I too originally used the "adsense" on my blog but noticed that the potential earnings seemed to be a bit on the small side and tried to cancel it from my site....but I lost my entire blog page instead and had to start ALL OVER again! That was not fun....believe me...so be careful. But good luck! Check me out @ http://llmoore.blogspot.com
